Following the murder of Camp Ashraf residents and abduction of seven others by Iraqi forces on September 1st, hundreds of Camp Liberty residents went on hunger strike in protest to this crime against humanity and the inaction and silence of the US and UN. They demand the immediate release of the seven hostages in custody of Iraqi authorities.

Now, after 83 days, the health conditions of the hunger strikers has reached critical levels.

Last night, at 2:00am, Mohammad-Ali Aghaii, fainted due to extremely low blood pressure, and was taken to the camp’s clinic. His health condition is still unstable.
